Safari and Retreat Site for a Family-Run Farm

01 / Overview

A family retreat in central Kenya has welcomed safari guests for decades. The old site did not reflect how much the farm actually offers. We rebuilt it end to end as a React 19 and Vite single-page app with framer-motion page transitions and Tailwind CSS v4 for styling. The site now covers eleven routes: a home page with hero, about, safari preview, rooms preview, on-site cafe feature, location map, testimonials, and newsletter; a safaris page with URL-driven category navigation across on-farm activities, day trips, multi-day trips, a ten-day package, and tailor-made itineraries; rooms and rates pages; an events and retreats page; gallery, about, community projects, and FAQs pages; and a contact page. Itineraries, rooms, rates, events, projects, and testimonials are all data-driven from TypeScript and JavaScript modules so the owners can update content without touching layout code.
